TLC owner drops $10,000 challenge for Farwell4Hire
The owner of TLC Pet Food wants to see the Farwell4Hire 50/50 draw reach $100,000.
If the community hits that target by Sunday, Erik Kuttis will donate an additional $10,000 to this year’s annual campaign, which raises money for cystic fibrosis research.
He made the announcement on the Mike Farwell Show on Monday.

“I’m encouraging everyone, if you’re pet lovers, if you’re small business owners, you’re business owners in the community, let’s get on board here and support this – support Farwell4Hire, support the 50/50,” he said. “Let’s get it to $100,000.”
The jackpot was at around $64,000 at the time of the announcement.
Following two early bird draws on Monday and June 12 at 1 p.m., the final draw takes place on June 16 at 1:15 p.m.
Outside of the draw, Farwell typically raises money for the campaign by doing work and odd jobs in exchange for a donation, including weeding gardens and washing windows. He’s raised more than $1 million since the campaign’s launch in 2014.
“We thought, instead of making you come out and work, the TLC godfather’s going to make people an offer they can’t refuse,” he told Farwell, later adding, “The great thing about 50/50 is everyone’s a winner.”
