“This is very much an active and ongoing investigation.”
That’s the latest from Toronto Police as it’s now been two weeks since a 37-year-old man with Down syndrome went missing.
Nathan was last seen in the Jane Street and Sheppard Avenue area of Toronto on May 12.
He used to live in Waterloo Region, which sparked concerns he may have headed toward K-W.
Despite some reports of possible sightings, including in the Guelph area, Toronto Police confirmed to CityNews Kitchener on May 26 that there are no new updates to share on the investigation.
Police noted the search is continuing and renewed an appeal for any information on Nathan’s whereabouts.
“We are following up on all the tips we are receiving and we continue to seek information from the public. No tip is too small. Please contact us at 416-808-3100,” read an e-mail statement from Toronto Police Media Relations Officer, Victor Paul Kwong.
Nathan is described as being 4’6″, 170 lbs, with a full beard and moustache.
