Extreme Weather Centre: Thursday cancellations

Cancellations for January 26, 2023 — Updated at 8:30 a.m.

PUBLIC AND CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

– Due to the current weather conditions, all school buses, taxis and special education routes operated by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board are cancelled Thursday. All public and Catholic schools are open. All extended day childcare programs are open. All St. Louis online, daytime and evening classes are open at all locations

FRENCH-LANGUAGE SCHOOLS

– Transportation to French Catholic schools in Waterloo Region is cancelled Thursday. Schools are open

OTHER SCHOOLS

– Oak Bridge Academy is closed Thursday

– Koinonia Christian Academy is closed

– KidsAbility School is closed. The KidsAbility Centre is open

– Verideia Classical Christian Academy is closed

– Foundation Christian School in Winterbourne is closed

CHILDCARE CENTRES

– Waterloo Co-operative Preschool

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS/EVENTS/PROGRAMS

– All classes at the Carousel Dance are cancelled for Thursday evening
