Carnival at The Boardwalk raises funds for St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation (update)

If you're headed to The Boardwalk in K-W over the next few days, you'll likely notice something different. 

As of Tuesday, a fundraising carnival was being erected in the Village 1 parking lot. 

It was initially announced the carnival would open Wednesday afternoon but workers on site confirmed to CityNews that it will open Thursday at 4 p.m. as an inspection is still required. 

The carnival will run straight through the weekend and will feature rides, games, and concession stands.

The hours for the carnival are weekdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Keep in mind, it's all weather dependent. 

Proceeds raised through the carnival will go to the St. Mary's General Hospital Foundation.
