Waterloo Councillor Diane Freeman will seek re-election
Ward 4 Councillor for the City of Waterloo, Diane Freeman, has confirmed she intends to run again in the upcoming municipal election.
Freeman is nearing the end of her fourth term on council, and told the Mike Farwell Show on CityNews 570 that she will seek re-election for a fifth term.
The nomination period is open from May 2nd until August 19th, and the municipal election will take place on October 24th.

Waterloo Mayor Dave Jaworsky, along with councillors Tenille Bonoguore, Angela Vieth, and Jeff Henry will not be on the upcoming ballot, as they've confirmed they'll step away from municipal politics and not seek re-election.
