Outbreak declared in cath lab at St. Mary’s General Hospital

St. Mary's General Hospital in Kitchener has declared a COVID-19 outbreak in its catheterization lab.

In a news release Monday, the hospital said there are three staff cases associated with the outbreak. No patients have been infected.

The declaration, made in consultation with public health, revealed the start of the outbreak on March 14. It's anticipated they will be able to lift the outbreak by March 24.
