Special weather statement in effect for ‘significant rainfall’
A special weather statement is in effect for significant rainfall in Waterloo Region and surrounding area.
This includes Wellington County, Guelph, Erin, Mount Forest, and Arthur.
Periods of rain is expected to begin tonight and continue to Tuesday night.

Environment Canada is calling for 15 to 25mm.
The weather agency warns frozen ground has less ability to absorb this rainfall.
There may also be some light freezing rain.
