Friday saw record number of COVID-19 vaccines administered in Waterloo Region
More than 56 per cent of eligible adults in Waterloo Region have received at least one shot of COVID-19 vaccine.
That's according to the latest update from Region of Waterloo Public Health.
On Tuesday, the online dashboard showed a total of 282,564 vaccine doses have been administered to local residents.

Just over 18,000 locals are fully vaccinated, representing 3.89 per cent of the eligible population.
Friday was also a big day locally. Officials said it saw the most shots given in a single day, with more than 7,400 vaccines administered.
