Farm Boy opening location in Waterloo
Farm Boy is opening a third location in the region.
The newest store, which is just under 27,000 square feet, is scheduled to open at 417 King Street North (King St. N. and Weber St. N.) in Waterloo on January 7.
The fresh food retailer says opening the new store has also led to the creation of 130 jobs.

“We are excited to kick-off another busy year of store openings with our 35th location in Waterloo, Ontario,” Jean-Louis Bellemare, President and General Manager, Farm Boy said in a release. “Our new team will live up to our Farm Boy promise to provide the safest, freshest food experience with top-notch customer service.”
Farm Boy says shoppers at the new Waterloo location can look forward to locally made products, the ever-popular full-service salad and hot bar, as well as fresh produce and meat.
The Ottawa-based company already has locations in Kitchener and Cambridge.
