Crews respond to massive fire at Kitchener auto shop (update)
There were multiple road closures in effect on Wednesday evening following a serious blaze in the King and Ottawa Street area.
Kitchener Fire Platoon Chief Steve Zurell said while the fire orginated in a vehicle at Yilmaz Ertan Auto Sales, the cause remains under investigation.
Four stations, with about 22 fire fighters, responded to the scene.

Zurell called it, “a stubborn fire.”
There are no reported injuries and there's no current damage estimate available.
In a post on social media Wednesday afternoon, Waterloo Regional Police initially reported that numerous vehicles were in flames.
King Street is closed between Onward Avenue and Ottawa Street, while Borden Avenue is closed between Charles and King Street.
There is no current reopening time known.
