KW Santa Claus parade cancelled
The 2020 Kitchener-Waterloo Santa Claus parade has been cancelled.
The Lions Club of Kitchener confirming to 570 NEWS that health concerns were one of many factors for cancelling this year's event. The organization didn't provide further comment on the other factors.
“At this time, some thought is being given to a virtual one and we are in the process of attempting to find out some of the logistics in how to have a meaningful one,” said a spokesperson.

The annual event typically takes place in mid-November.
