Police investigating armed robbery at Kitchener convenience store

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for two suspects following an attempted robbery at a convenience store on Westwood Drive in Kitchener.

It happened just after 12 a.m. Friday.

Police say two suspects entered the store and demanded money, they say one was armed with a knife.

But both fled the area empty handed.

Police also say no one was hurt.

The suspects are described as male, black, late teens to early 20s, 5 '6″, with a thin build.

At the time of the robbery, they were wearing dark clothing and red bandanas.
