Ontario and B.C. claim gold at national lawn bowling championships in Kitchener
The Canadian Singles Lawn Bowls Championships have come to a close in Kitchener with Ontario and British Columbia both taking gold.
Ontario's Cathy Larking (Toronto) captured the women's title with a win over B.C.
In fact, Larking went undefeated to claim gold.

Michael Leong of British Columbia took gold in the men's division with a narrow victory over Greg Wilson of Alberta.
Kitchener's Mike Wagner just missed the playoffs after losing a close tiebreaker to Gary Butineau of Ontario.
Organizers say it was one of the most competitive fields in recent memory.
The tournament was played at Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling Club.
