Two Kitchener men charged in beer heist

Two Kitchener men are among the three men charged in connection with the theft of a tractor-trailer, full of beer.

Ontario Provincial Police say the tractor-trailer unit was stolen early Monday morning from Oxford County.

The owner of the truck then contacted police to let them know the global positioning satellite (GPS) tracker in the truck, showed the unit in Huron East, north of Brussels.

Members of Perth County OPP, the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), a K9 unit and helicopter, were all then utilized to find the vehicle.

Two suspects were arrested at the scene, the third suspect was found by the K9 unit.

OPP estimate the value of the beer at over $100,000.

James Jauch, 49, of Kitchener was arrested and charged with;

Joshua Lieshout, 30, of Kitchener was arrested and charged with;

Chad Hussey, 40, of Woodstock was arrested and charged with;

All three are due in court Tuesday for a bail hearing.
