Police still looking for suspect in connection with April theft

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a theft that occurred on April 20, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., at the Cambridge Mall. 

Police responded to the mall for a report of lost property which consisted of two sets of prescription glasses that were accidentally left behind in a green bag. 

After the complainant left the mall, a male was observed picking up the bag and removing the contents. The male was then seen entering a vehicle in the parking lot. 

The vehicle has been described as a newer model Dodge Caravan, silver or light grey in colour. 

The male has been described as white, in his 40's, with brown short hair, and a beard. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, grey t-shirt with “Muskoka” across the front, blue jeans and black shoes.
