New survey reveals the adventurous way Canadians eat their cereal
Today is National Cereal Day, and to celebrate, Kellogg Canada Inc. has released a survey about how much Canadians love their cereal.
Roughly, one-in-four Canadians eat cereal more than three times a week, with 40 per cent of those preferring to eat their cereal as a late-night snack.
Nearly two-thirds of Canadians are willing to try different flavours in their cereal.

25 per cent like to add some texture to their bowl with dried fruit and 22 per cent love the healthy crunch that comes from nuts and seeds.
In addition, 44 per cent of Canadians pair their cereal with fresh fruit and 26 per cent top it off with yogurt.
How about some less conventional dressings? One per cent of Canadians said they would mix in bacon, BBQ sauce, ketchup and even soy sauce!
Millennials are moving away from tradition the most, with 41 per cent choosing milk alternatives to top their bowls and 21 per cent opting for flavoured milk.
What is possibly the strangest alternative to milk, five per cent of Canadians add their morning coffee to their cereal.
