Fundraiser for Yemen to be held next month

A group of women from Waterloo Region are partnering with Islamic Relief to raise funds for Yemen.
They will be hosting a fundraiser at RIM Park in Waterloo on Saturday, December 8.
It runs from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Tickets are $40 for adults and $35 for students.
A dinner and silent auction will be part of the evening.
They are expecting between 450 to 500 women to attend.
“The event aims to raise awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen,” say organizers.
