Kitchener looking for feedback on proposed Iron Horse Trail extension
The city plans on extending the Iron Horse Trail in the south end of Kitchener, and you can have a say in the planning.
The city will have a survey up online until Monday night.
They say they're working with the province to fill a gap in pedestrian and cycling infrastructure between the Iron Horse Trail and the Trans Canada Trail.

Kitchener's Cycling Master Plan has identified pedestrian and cycling upgrades for Bedford Road and Sydney Street South, so trail users are no longer forced to use mixed traffic, as well as on-road infrastructure.
The plan calls for new trail to be put in along Courtland Avenue between Carwood Avenue and Hayward Avenue.
“The goal is to create a safe and convenient connection for pedestrians, cycling commuters and other trail users.” the city stated in a news release.
A staff report will be presented to city council once the public consultation process has wrapped up.
If approved, the project is expected to be completed in 2019.
