Rangers to open season at home to Flint

The Kitchener Rangers will open their 56th season at home to the Flint Firebirds on Friday, September 21.

It will mark the third straight year the Rangers have started the season against Flint.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. You can also listen to the game on 570 NEWS.

Kitchener's first road game is set for Saturday, September 29 in Windsor.

Here are five special event nights the team has highlighted:

Oktoberfest Night: Friday, October 5 vs. Saginaw Spirit 

Remembrance Day Jersey Auction: Friday, November 9 vs. Sarnia Sting

Teddy Bear Toss: Tuesday, December 11 vs. Oshawa Generals

New Year's Day: Tuesday, January 1 vs. Peterborough Petes

Fan Appreciation Game: Friday, March 15 vs. Owen Sound Attack
