Closing ceremonies for 49th annual KW Oktoberfest

Auf Wiedersehen, Oktoberfest!

The 49th annual KW Oktoberfest wraps up in Kitchener on Saturday night, as the closing ceremonies get underway.

Social Media and Events Coordinator Katie Owens says they kick off at Chicopee around midnight.

“When we look at the closing ceremonies, it’s really about celebrating everything that happened throughout the festival. We’ll have the keg out from this year, and we’re just really looking forward to the 50th anniversary next year!”

You can celebrate the Bavarian festival with local dignitaries, Miss Oktoberfest 2017, and of course – Onkel Hans.

The closing ceremonies wrap up around 12:30 a.m.
