Two people sent to hospital following head-on crash near Stratford

OPP have closed Highway 7/8 near Stratford due to a serious head-on crash.
The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. on Highway 7/8 between Perth Road 107 and Perth Road 108 West of Shakespeare.
Police say two people were taken to hospital, one of which was transported via air ambulance to a hospital in London.
It’s not clear at this point what caused the collision, but traffic is currently being re-routed around the closed stretch of highway.
OPP say motorists travelling eastbound or westbound on Highway 7/8 may want to travel along Line 37 or Line 33 to avoid the closed highway.
