The 8th Annual Secret Santa Toy Drive has kicked off in support of the Salvation Army.
The drive, in partnership with the Rogers Kitchener Radio Group, ensures that all children throughout the community have a present to open this Christmas.
Major Rick Sheasby, Executive Director of The Salvation Army K-W tells 570 News people can donate toys at a number of Salvation Army locations, also locations in local malls and at the upcoming Santa Clause Parade.
“Find one of those events, or drop it off at our office if they want to, or in the malls where there is generally some sort of presentation. We ultimatly get them and sort them then we are able to get them out to children.”
Major Rick also encourages local businesses to collect toys in their workplace through the The KPMG Workplace Campaign.
Toy donations will be collected until December 18th.
