Cambridge sexual assault allegation false, police say

Regional police have wrapped up their investigation into a reported sexual assault in Cambridge back in the fall.
They say it never took place and the allegations were false.
On November 25th, a 15-year-old girl reported she was pulled into the bush at Silverheights Park and sexually assaulted.
Police say they’ve concluded no assault took place and the minor injuries she suffered at the time were caused by a fall while walking to the park.
